From Futurism to Fluxus, books have always been crucial in the development of conceptual art, Unbinding the Book is a project and exhibition that looks to contribute to the continuation of this tradition.
Love this vintage radio book. My radio book will look very different as it will be a transmitter rather than receiver and will be exhibited along with eight artists who are approaching the medium from a unique perspective, demonstrating scenarios for the potential evolution in the production and consumption of printed matter in a digital age. These explorations include interventions pre and post printing, digital augmentation, and new methods of display while considering the sculptural qualities of print and demonstrating the irreplaceable properties of the book as a medium for creative expression.
