On Nov 1st 2014, I conducted a radio action at the Folkestone Triennale. A sole yellow radio aired Radio Reception a Fringe broadcast, across Folkestone Triennale installation sites along the Harbour.Works aired in these spaces came from Radio Arts dreamlands artists Gregory Whitehead, Esther Johnson and myself along with work made by Linda Tucker, Livia Sevier and Karen Rennie, particiants from the Radio Arts Listen Out workshop for the Fringe, which I ran earlier in the month with Jim Backhouse,documented at http://radioarts.org.uk/ and works by Katherine Meynell and Roney Fraser Munro.
It was very interesting how many accepted it as part of the works and how people looked at me and spoke to me because I was carrying a live radio not a mobile phone between the sites the action is documented here
